How to Disable Touchpad While Typing on Laptop Using Touchpad Blocker Software (Step-by-Step Tutorial)

Do you ever feel annoyed when your laptop touchpad interrupts your typing? even when you’re typing something important, your hand might accidentally touch the touchpad, causing text to be selected or even deleted, if that sounds familiar, i’ve got a solution for you, in this tutorial, i’ll show you a simple way to disable the touchpad on your laptop, so, how do you do it? Let’s go through it together.

Tutorial :

First, make sure you have downloaded the software from the provided link here.
Once downloaded, extract the file by right-clicking on it and selecting "Extract Here".
Run the Touchpad Blocker program by right-clicking it and selecting "Run as Administrator".
If the UAC prompt appears, click the "Yes" button.
After that, a table box will appear as shown below, at this stage, click the "OK" button.
Click the "Next" button.
Then click the "I Agree" button.
Then click the "Install" button.
Wait until the installation process is complete.
Once finished, uncheck the boxes for
"Run Touchpad Blocker" and "Report Installing to Website" then click the "Finish" button.
Once the installation is complete, launch the "Touchpad Blocker" program from the desktop shortcut.
The application should now be active, and the Touchpad Blocker window will appear like the one shown below.
You can now close the window since Touchpad Blocker is running in the background.
To disable Touchpad Blocker, simply press CTRL + F9 together, and it will turn off, showing a notification in the bottom-right corner of your Windows screen.
